' A Neck and Tuck Squeaker '

01. All about 'Hit-2'

Sailesh Kolanu is back with yet another suspense thriller movie & also is confident with five other thrillers making it a 'Hit Verse' and also giving a new dimension to Tollywood with his kind of ideas. Everything apart lemme clarify all your doubts regarding this flick. 

Hit-2 is just another different story with a completely new cast, but however very few references were made in contact to the first case in this film. So, probably if you didn't watch first case also this movie works. Hit- 2 is yet another routine cop story with Sailesh' kind of touch. If comparisons are drawn, I cannot give any side, coz both the films had their pros and cons, so better I'll leave it to you to decide which is better on what. 

Hit- 2 starting the 'Thrilling' Adivi Sesh makes it much more colourful, he adds all the pomp to this film. If Sesh wasn't in the film, I would doubt the cinema's success. 

02. Plot of the film.

I'll not reveal much, but Hit-2 opens like all other suspense thrillers, a non-sync story and abruptly cut & into the main stream. So, there itself the predictions get over your mind, that this particular flashback is going to be the main hindge of the film. And also they become true eventually. So, if you are expecting something out of the box, then you'll be disappointed, it's an ordinarily well made film within the boundaries. 

Then comes KD, our handsome SP in Andhrapradesh CID, Vishakapatnam working for HIT- Homicide Intervention Team, same like in the previous case. He solves a murder mystery case within few moments of encounter and startles all the people around. There by, the things get worse when he gets into the clutches of a brutal murder of an youngster 'Sanjana' whose body parts are literally chopped off. Later via forensic reports they find out that all the body parts spread around do not only belong to Sanjana but also to many other such girls. And also the killer makes it much interesting by also leaving few clues to the team, like he leaves foot prints of a 'Fila' brand shoe with size '9' that has smudged the pool of blood, & the bite marks on the girl's neck. That's like a puissant challenge to the cop right? 

Disturbed KD, tries to solve the case with all his intelligence but still is carried away infront of the killer's brains. And KD is successfully distracted and turns the things upside down untill everything becomes absolutely worst. And only it's in the second half that to towards the climax only, we are revealed about the killer and his identity. Untill then predictions do the job. To unlock the suspense watch the film.

03. About Adivi Sesh's portrayal. 

Adivi Sesh is just that gem of an actor, who doesn't fall in love with his performance? Probably, the poor tastes. Sesh is just beyond brilliant, his act evoked a lot of sensibility and perfection this time. Sesh as SP KD, is just brilliant, that's it. He has the potential to tackle all the wit with brains simultaneously. His character too is of pure hero material, however few scenes lack the reality, probably the climax and introduction, which is intentionally made however to suit his image, which is again great. I don't have any complaints with his character nor his performance, he's perfect. All the romance too worked well in the film. The lead pair looked stunning. 

04. The heroine and the killer. 

Meenakshi Chaudhary is a perfect fit again, she's that glamourous heroine in the thriller, as usual like all the thriller movies, but still has her part and worth in the film. She's there in the film for a reason & absolutely the reason is convincing too. What can make a film look satisfying or convincing, is the worth of a role and justification to the character with the portrayal, so both the lead pair did splendid job. 

Killer, is someone who didn't convince my heart till now. I predicted that's him, but still looking at him as a killer didn't gel well. I think many will relate to me after watching the film. He's somewhat unworthy here, neither that killer had such ability to handle the gruesomeness of the character nor neither fits into the depth of the character. But, still he's the killer & that's the movie. Period. 

05. Other departments. 

M. M. Sreelekha after so many years!!, nice that she got a chance now. That foot tapping 'Urike Urike' in Sid Sriram & Ramya Behra's voices is just the sizzler- the visuals or the song is just ❤️. One doesn't like interruptions in a seat edge thriller, that too in the form of songs, but Urike Urike itself gives a feel like movie is interrupting the song in between. A great song indeed. Score by John Stewart is worth watching, but felt Anirudh Ravichandran kind score is needed for this film. The bgm here in the film became way too classy. 

Editing needs few fixes, though few scenes got abrupt cuts, felt like they deserved a proper icing. Cinematography is spectacular. Story is a routine one, screenplay overshadows that normal storyline.

Am sure you'll all not regret watching the film, it's a good one, ok it's a great one. If you don't expect way too much, this is a great film, even if you expect also it's a good film. Film has no many flaws, works good on whole. The twists and screenplay play a vital role in the film.

Nani as Arjun Sarkar is going to do the honours in Hit-3, that's an open secret, so I didn't hesitate to tell it here, eagerly waiting for that to happen. But, I know you all still have that question, like which one is better, First case or the second, I'll go with second for the screenplay & Sesh.
