' Not Extrodinary Yet Not Ordinary Too '

01. The basic plot & all about CNKB

CNKB is an absolute suspense thriller with sufficient twists, IK can say a little more than sufficient. Bollywood, fusing genres to get some sublime outcome like this has shaped out well. CNKB is a "Hijack + Robbery" film that has ample stuff to entertain the audience.

The plot is an absolute beauty, so I don't want to reveal alot- here's the layered skin of CNKB.
Yaami Gautham as Neha Grover is a flight hostress who meets Sunny Kaushal as Ankith Sethi during one of her flight boardings & the happenings between both of them turn out to be cute & romantic though happened intentionally which is revealed later in the film. They both date & also get physical which results in Neha & Ankith becoming parents. But, in the mean time something suspicious keeps happening around Ankith which triggers Neha's anxiety & later she knows that he's stuck into a very big scandal. (Learn what sort of wrongdoing is it in the film)

In order to get out from that scandal, Ankith says that he has to get into a heist of diamonds or else he's under threat. In an accident Neha looses her pregnancy & then the plan of robbing diamonds comes into play. Eventually, the grey in Ankith's character comes into limelight one by one. And also the hijack happens in the plane where they plan to rob the diamonds. What happens next is something to watch in the film.

02. Performances & technicalities.

The director is really genius. He manages to handle the suspenses & twists really well. Whole story is really on track & never feels like it is created in such a way that it is intentionally designed in such a way to handle the screenplay.

Performances from lead cast are really fine. Sunny Kaushal has always been on be it any of his films like Shiddath, Hurdang or Milli. So, nthing special about him, he's just rockstar. You'll love him in the film. Yaami Guatham is fine, unlike her past outings, she improved alot. Her acting is really fine. Sharadh Kelkar as RAW officer was also good. So, no issues with performances in the film.

Editing & cinematography are not top notch but still are just fine.

03. Why to watch the film.

For the performances, especially for Sunny Kaushal.
Twists- there is enough suspense drama in the film.
Story- the plot is gripping enough.
Screenlay- there is a rush towards end, but still screenplay is engaging.

04. What lacks in CNKB.

Screenplay - partially, the twists coming one after the other becomes a hectic work for a set of audience to follow it keenly, I mean that everyone cannot follow the pace of the film as it is. Way, too many twists is again another problem in the film.
The logic falls apart atleast twice, but that is ok for a normal movie goer. But, I have few serious questions to the director- (**SPOILER ALERT**)- why is it that Parvez Shaik still investigates in such a manner even after he realised that it is not a hijjack but something elese, he coould have asked different set of questions to figure exactly what happened on plane. Next, when only Ankith is attacked so badly by the hijjackers, then why the focus of Parvez wasn't on him solely, when that is the odd sight in the entire mishap. Next out of the box, why Neha should plan hijjack & robbery both at a time, she could have robbed diamonds first & then should have thought about messing Ankith's life, maybe director thought it would be a too routine revenge story. If Hijjack wouldn't be planned one, then it would have really given some more excitment.

05. Final words.

As my title says not too extrodinary but still has the potential to grip the audience. You'll surely love the story.
