SIMPLY OUTDATED!



01. Custody from inward to outward.

I don't know where to start & end, I don't even understand how to review this? Venkat Prabhu forgot a software update for his system- he brought in some of his old outdated villain-hero revenge. Pl keep your brain inside your pocket before you watch this film.
Custody is about a police constable Shiva in 1998 in Sathinetipalli- Guntur district who got this job on sympathy basis of his brother's demise while in the service. Shiva is a righteous person who belives in truth, honesty & also strives for that till his last breath. Aravind Swamy called as Raazu is the bad goon who works for a political party & the CM- Priyamani. Shiva gets in with the foray of a CBI officer Sampath Raj who attempts to take Raazu into custody & Shiva helps him in that goal of putting Raazu behind the bars. How, why & what - you preditced right? You know the story & content! Yeah, believe it- don't watch the film- that's what is gonna happen in the film. 

02. Why Venkat Prabhu made this a film?

We saw Aadi, Simhaadri, Chennakeshva Reddy, Criminal, Samarasimha Reddy- which start with a purpose & the hero has a flashback & he has to avenge on villain for his satisifaction. Venkat Prabhu thought that we forgot all those 20's avenge dramas & that's the reason he brought in this film. From starting to end everything is predictble & it has no highs & lows- so my question is why should you make this film? or why should I watch this film? God knows!

03. Performances.

Naga Chaitanya got a flop film now no doubt- but his performance is on a below average mark in this film. Something's wrong with his voice I guess. Krithi is ok- but sad for her lineup, she's always choosing the wrong one. Aravind Swamy, Sampath Raj, Sarath Kumar- star Tamil cast but cannot save this film at all. 

04. Technicalities. 

Ilaiyaraaja & Yuvan Shankar Raja at music- what happened to them? Their songs nor score cannot uplift the film like said contrarily by Venkat Prabhu. BGM by Raaja at places were okay-ish but cannot do any benefit, except for that typical beat in the police station nothing impresses. Editing or cinematography is safe. But, why that colour to the frames? Entire film has a black-white to yellow colour frames, which is just irritating. Direction & screenplay failed terribly. 

05. My opinion.

I just regret watching this, I think half of you already watched this film, but you would all had the same gut feeling. But cannot help, this is a caution to all those who didn't watch the film- you cannot rely on this film because we neither don't have a script, screenplay nor Venkat Prabhu's styled direction or Raaja's touch music or score! So, nothing's there in this film.
